COURSE OVERVIEW
An essential introduction to digital dentistry and guided surgery techniques, focusing on intraoral scanning and the creation of surgical guides for various implant cases. Participants will gain hands-on experience with software, guided systems, and 3D printing, equipping them with the skills needed to enhance precision and efficiency in implant placement.
Laptops with all relevant programs/software will be provided, as well as all tools and supplies needed. Attendees may bring their own tools and brushes if desired. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:
Tips & techniques for intraoral scanning for single, dual, half-arch, and full-mouth implants
Overview and prerequisites for guided surgery and the selection criteria for surgical guides
Step-by-step approach for different guided systems
Software demonstrations, including DICOM to STL conversion
Planning and designing stackable guides
Hands-on practice with guided kits for single implant cases and stackable guides
Implant placement techniques using guided kits on dummy models
